Jamilyn is a registered Suzuki teacher and teaches private violin lessons to students of all ages and levels.

Influenced by Suzuki and other well-known violin pedagogies, Jamilyn creates an individually tailored curriculum that will best meet the needs of each student. The study of basics is extremely important to her teaching philosophy. Emphasis is placed on a strong technical foundation, correct posture and alignment, beautiful tone production, and good musicianship. Students are also taught music theory (ear-training, sight-reading, memorization etc.) and a healthy sprinkle of music history!
